If you're moving email from another provider and the old mail isn't being migrated for you, Outlook can copy it across.
Step 1: Add both accounts
Add your old email account and your new Managed Web mailbox to Outlook, both using IMAP.
Step 2: Copy the folders
Drag folders (or select messages and drag them) from the old account into the new mailbox. Outlook uploads them to our server. Large mailboxes can take some time.
Alternative: export and import a PST file
- In Outlook, go to File › Open & Export › Import/Export.
- Choose Export to a file › Outlook Data File (.pst), select the old account and tick Include subfolders.
- Save the file.
- Run Import/Export again, choose Import from another program or file › Outlook Data File, select the .pst and import it into your new mailbox.
Check your new mailbox has enough storage space before you start. Once the move is complete, change your domain's MX records if they haven't been already.
